CAREMAT Chiangmai

CAREMAT Foundation Chiang Mai is a community-based organization dedicated to promoting the rights and quality of life of LGBTQ+ individuals through inclusive, friendly, and non-stigmatizing healthcare services. The foundation primarily serves men who have sex with men (MSM), transgender women (TGW), and male/female sex workers, all of whom can access services free of charge.

CAREMAT’s approach is rooted in a deep understanding of sexual and gender diversity, with healthcare services tailored specifically to the needs of its target populations. These services include HIV and STI testing, confidential counseling, mental health support, access to PrEP and PEP, and referrals for ongoing treatment and care—all delivered in a manner that respects identity and affirms dignity.

Beyond healthcare, CAREMAT plays a vital role in advocating for sexual and gender inclusion, challenging discrimination, and creating safe spaces for communities often overlooked by mainstream health systems. The organization works to ensure that everyone has equal access to care and the opportunity to live a healthy, empowered life.
