Actteam

ACT TEAM Khon Kaen Medical Technology Clinic is a community-based organization (CBO) operating under the STAR Project, with funding support from the Global Fund. The clinic is dedicated to addressing and ultimately ending the HIV/AIDS and STI epidemics among vulnerable and hard-to-reach populations.

ACT TEAM provides free screening services for HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and Hepatitis C, in a setting that is confidential, safe, and stigma-free. The clinic specifically serves key populations, including:

– Men who have sex with men (MSM)
– Transgender women (TGW)
– Male sex workers
– People who inject drugs (PWID)

Beyond medical screening, ACT TEAM also implements harm reduction programs, including the distribution of clean needle kits, and promotes safe sex practices through the free provision of condoms and lubricants, ensuring individuals can take control of their sexual health with dignity and quality care.

Appointments are easy to book, require no national ID, and are completely free and confidential, empowering everyone to access healthcare without fear or stigma.
